You don’t deserve what you going through

The unwelcome truth is that most times we probably don’t deserve whatever it is we are going through. Reaping what we did not sow. It’s easy to relate this to all the bad things that happen to us, however, there are good things that we experience without deserving so. I took a driving test where everyone else failed and I passed because I was of the same tribe as the examiner, typical.

It never made sense to me and still hasn’t, why do good things happen to bad people and the inverse to good people? If you dwell on it too long your life will probably end up like most African nations, undeveloped, but I digress. The meaning sometimes doesn’t matter, It is what it is. Take it as you see it, nothing more, nothing less.

There’s a deep human desire to know why to see life painted out in monochrome but life like the truth is rarely pure and never simple (Oscar Wild). It is less about what happens to us and more about how we carry the burden of our circumstances. The cards are dealt and what happens next is up to us. We do not deserve it but let us be worthy of it. Worthy of the setbacks by being able to pick ourselves up for the next rounds to come. Worthy of the success by not becoming victims of it, prideful and contemptuous. Remember that tables may be flipped and we may actually get what we do deserve.

Thank you for reading, stay blessed.
